The manufacturer doesn’t publish specific extended and compressed lengths for the Part No. 84049 shock pack as a complete set, so there aren’t official specs available in the public product data for exact closest (collapsed) and open (extended)lengths.
However, what we do know from similar Superlift Shadow Series shocks used in lifted Toyota applications is helpful for comparison:
- Example Superlift Shadow Series shocks for lifted Toyota pickups/4Runner rear applications commonly have extended lengths in the mid-20+-inch range and compressed lengths in the mid-15+-inch range on individual shocks.
Because the 84049 pack is built as a complete lift shock set (front + rear) for a 4–5″ lift, each shock in the pack will have different length specs based on its position (front vs. rear). Most complete shock kits for this application include both shorter front shocks and longer rear shocks to match factory and lifted suspension geometry.
