Westins Skid Plate is made of heavy duty 10 gauge steel with the strength to fully protect the under body of the vehicle. It features extra mounts points that add maximum strength easy access to replace routine oil changes and access to oil drain plug. The Skid Plate is made with a unique design that features vent holes to reduce weight which allows airflow to the transmission and oil pan. In addition it also provides stamped reinforcing ribs to add durability without the extra weight.
