With heavy-duty trailers, such as a large boat trailer or 5th wheel camper, that responsibility is even greater. Giving safety its proper priority is easy with the CURT 7-way RV blade trailer brake controller tester. This sophisticated towing electrical tester plugs into any 7-way RV blade socket and allows you to check your vehicle wiring for battery voltage, brake voltage and signal circuits. The CURT 7-way RV blade brake controller tester accurately measures the brake and battery voltage output at your 7-way connector. It features a volt meter and a current meter for testing brake power and allows you to test the power output of your trailer brake controller unit. The 7-way brake controller tester can be used for trailers with two or more axles, and because it uses a special magnet system, brake controller output can be measured even without a trailer attached. It includes easy-to-follow testing instructions and a 20' cable for single-user, in-cab testing to make it even easier to get to the bottom of any electrical problem. Operating the CURT 7-way RV blade electrical tester is simple and does not require an additional power source. Simply plug the 7-way RV blade into your vehicle's electrical socket, select your settings with the axle and voltage switches, and you are ready to begin. The tester is able to check your left and right turn signals, brake lights, tail lights and reverse lights if applicable. It also provides the voltage and current of your vehicle's brake controller output. The CURT RV blade tester also offers a number of potential causes of electrical failure, including fuse issues, inadequate wiring, damaged wires or a defective brake controller.
