Equal-i-zer 90-00-1001 10K Hitch — No Shank
A 1,000 lb tongue-weight / 10,000 lb trailer-weight 4-point sway-control hitch package that requires a separately selected shank and hitch ball.
Product Description
Equal-i-zer 90-00-1001 combines weight distribution with integrated four-point friction sway control. This exact model is the no-shank 10K configuration, intended for buyers who need to choose an adjustable shank for their tow-vehicle receiver and trailer height.
The ratings are maximum system ratings, not automatic approval for a tow combination. The tow vehicle, receiver, shank, hitch ball, coupler, trailer frame and loaded tongue weight must all be compatible, and the system must be correctly set up.
Features & Selection Notes
- Maximum 1,000 lb tongue weight and 10,000 lb gross trailer weight.
- Integrated 4-Point Sway Control operates when weight distribution is engaged.
- Trunnion-style square spring arms; listed arm size is 1-3/8 inches.
- Bracket location is typically 27–32 inches rearward from the coupler centre; verify frame clearance in the manual.
- Compatible with surge brakes according to Equal-i-zer product guidance.
- Backing and tight turns do not require removal of a separate friction sway bar because none is used.

Returns & Cancellations
In-Stock Items
- Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
- 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.
Backorders / Special Orders
- 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
- Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
- Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
- Payment Disputes: Chargebacks do not cancel orders — please contact us directly.
