Each ½-inch thick panel is crafted with a lightweight aluminum frame for exceptional structural rigidity, enough to support 500 lbs. of evenly distributed weight, while maintaining remarkable resistance to scratches, dents, and unsightly UV-related fading. The cover's perimeter frame features a matte black powder coat finish, reinforced with extruded weatherproof seals at every seam to protect the bed and your cargo from the elements. At the tailgate, the Endure ALX utilizes a specially-engineered Secure Rotary Latch System, an industry-first and Extang exclusive. Its intuitive design allows one-handed operation with a simple twist-and-lift motion and automatically latches closed for exceptional security.
