This product features an ultra-low-profile design, sitting nearly flush with the bed rails. At the bulkhead, a compact 7-1/4 Inch deep canister protrudes above the bed rails, accepting the cover while retracted. This cover is highly secure, featuring a key-lockable rotary latch near the tailgate. With the combination of the lock and the cover's aluminum-reinforced construction, this tonneau cover is nearly impossible for a thief to crack into. With the cover closed and the tailgate locked, cargo in the bed is safer than in the cab. One of the most enticing draws of the Roll-N-Lock M-Series XT is the cover's integrated T-Slot rails. These rails allow you to install various gear mounts and accessories that are typically incompatible with a tonneau cover, significantly improving functionality.
