You can install a SkegGuard on a new or broken skeg with as little as 2 to 3 Inch of the upper skeg remaining. Easily slide the SkegGuard over the skeg, tap it into place and install the mounting hardware. No welding is needed. Each kit comes with self-locking mounting hardware and hex wrenches. The Megaware SkegGuard conforms to the skeg, ensuring no discernable drag or compromise in the performance of your motor. The design features a 3mm thick lower wear plate to protect against accidental ramp dragging and a drain hole to allow water and fluids to escape preventing corrosion and freezing.

Returns & Cancellations

In-Stock Items

  • Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
  • 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.

Backorders / Special Orders

  • 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
  • Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
  • Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
