This replacement timing chain fits 72-83 CJ5, 72-75 CJ6, 76-86 CJ7, 81-86 CJ8 Scrambler, 68-71 Trucks, 71-83 Wagoneer, 72-73 Commando, 72-74 DJ5, 74-83 Cherokee, 84-86 Grand Wagoneer SJ and 87-90 Wrangler YJ models equipped with 3.8 and 4.2 liter engines. For timing cover gasket, use 17449.03. Replaces OE 3240502

Returns & Cancellations
In-Stock Items
- Cancel before shipment; once shipped, standard return policy applies.
- 20% restocking fee, excluding oversize item. Both way shipping is customer responsibility under store error.
Backorders / Special Orders
- 5% restocking fee applies if canceled within 30 days.
- Non-cancellable once shipped from the manufacturer.
- Refused Deliveries: Refund minus shipping & restocking fees (excludes special orders).
- Payment Disputes: Chargebacks do not cancel orders — please contact us directly.
