Zone Offroad ZOND2301 Adventure Series Ram 1500 Upper Control Arms

Choose the correct upper arms for your Ram lift system before changing suspension geometry. ZOND2301 supplies a matched pair of assembled Adventure Series arms; the lift-kit and air-suspension restrictions below matter as much as the truck model.

Product Description

These boxed, welded steel upper control arms replace the factory arms on supported Ram 1500 4WD applications. Indexed ball-joint cups and factory-style rubber bushings address the joint position and frame connection as part of a compatible suspension setup.

An upper-control-arm kit is not a complete lift kit. Match it to the installed Zone suspension system and confirm the vehicle in the current manufacturer lookup; do not select it from a model-year range alone.

Features & Benefits

  • Fully welded plate-steel arms with machined ball-joint cups.
  • Greaseable ball joints with protective caps.
  • Factory-style rubber frame bushings; arms supplied assembled.

Compatibility & Applications

  • Ram 1500 4WD applications listed by Zone; confirm exact year and suspension configuration.
  • Current Zone notes allow specified 6-inch Zone kits and 2-inch Zone leveling kits; do not use with 4-inch Zone kits.
  • Not for 2013–2018 trucks with factory adjustable Air-Ride suspension.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many control arms are supplied?

A: One pair: a driver-side arm and a passenger-side arm.

Q: Can I use them with a 4-inch Zone kit?

A: No. Zone specifically excludes its 4-inch kits.

Q: What about factory Air-Ride?

A: Zone excludes 2013–2018 models with factory adjustable air suspension.

Q: Are the bushings and ball joints assembled?

A: Yes. Zone lists the arms as supplied assembled.

Q: Do the ball joints need grease?

A: Yes. Follow the applicable manual for greasing and service intervals.

Q: Is an alignment needed?

A: Yes. The D2301 instructions require a front-end alignment after installation.

Key Points & Helpful Resources

Ram 1500 4WD applications listed by Zone; confirm exact year and suspension configuration.

Why Choose This Product?

For a Ram with a supported Zone lift, the decision is about matching the ball-joint operating position to the suspension geometry. Check the existing kit number before choosing replacement arms; the unrelated ZONC12N application formerly on this page is not a selection rule for ZOND2301.

Ideal For

  • Ram owners replacing upper arms as part of a supported Zone suspension setup.
  • Installers checking lift compatibility and air-suspension exclusions before ordering.
